We officially launched the new CAMS National Collaboration Programme (2026–2028) at the ERATOSTHENES Centre of Excellence, marking the start of an important new phase in strengthening national air-quality services in Cyprus.

This new contract builds on previous experience and focuses on:

🔹 Direct integration of CAMS products into national systems (AirDataHub & Dust Data Cube)
🔹 AI-based national downscaling of air-quality forecasts (≤5 km resolution)
🔹 Enhanced stakeholder engagement and institutional alignment (DLI, Ministry of Health, Department of Meteorology)
🔹 Development of a health-oriented demonstrator
🔹 Long-term sustainability and operational impact

📊 Early milestones (2026):
• Delivery of the first national downscaled sample dataset
• Upgrade of the AirDataHub platform
• Structured validation with national authorities
• Launch of initial communication materials
