Vega-C to launch Sentinel-1C

The Copernicus Sentinel-1 mission, the first in the Copernicus satellite series, consists of two identical satellites orbiting 180° apart to enhance global coverage and data transmission for Copernicus, the Earth observation part of the EU’s Space Programme.

Watch the launch of Sentinel 1-C live this evening! Liftoff is scheduled for 23:20 Cyprus time, with ESA WebTV going live at 23:00. Don’t tune in too late and miss this exciting event!
