Meeting with the Labor and Inspection Department of Cyprus

As the national focal point for CAMS, the Eratosthenes Center of Excellence (ECoE) recently hosted a virtual meeting with the Labor and Inspection Department to advance the objectives of the CAMS National Collaboration Programme (NCP) and enhance stakeholder engagement. Discussions centered on improving the integration of CAMS data into national environmental monitoring systems and promoting its use for informed decision-making on air quality and climate issues.

Presentations highlighted a range of CAMS products, including regional air quality forecasts, emissions datasets, and additional pollution monitoring tools, alongside specialized modules to support regulatory reporting, satellite data applications, and training programs. The meeting emphasized the critical role of communication and knowledge sharing in maximizing the program’s effectiveness.
